Hire a spit when you want the rotisserie theatre without a full catering crew. We deliver stainless charcoal equipment (a whole lamb takes 4–6 hours on coals), help with placement, and can leave an operator on heat duty.

Hire vs full catering

Choose hire for experienced hosts with kitchen help. Choose spit braai catering when you want meat, salads and carving included — chef, sides and service from 25 guests at published per-guest rates (lamb R150, chicken R116).

Commercial notes

• We cater from a minimum of 25 people up to large events across Western Cape / Greater Cape Town.
• A whole lamb turns over coals for 4–6 hours, so the crew sets up 4–7 hours before you eat.
• A 50% non-refundable deposit confirms the function.
• Travel is free within 30 km of our N1 City base; 30–50 km adds R500–R800, 50–100 km R1,000–R1,500, and anything further is quoted per job.
• Eating time must be met as agreed on the booking.
• No cheques.

Space and access

Allow roughly 3×3 m of firm outdoor space, clear trolley access, and venue rules on open flame. Share gate codes and loading notes when you book.

Equipment notes (not a retail shop)

We supply unmarked stainless charcoal spitbraai equipment for the event — motors, skewers and fuel handled on the day. For a one-off function, hire is usually smarter than buying. Ask about spit size when you book a spit braai.
